Meet the chef: Izu Ani
Chef Izu's passion for cooking ignited in his London school years, later refined through Michelin-star experience and culinary travels across France and Spain, shaping his Mediterranean-inspired style.
Moving to the Middle East in 2010, he quickly gained acclaim as Chief Research Officer in Fundamental Hospitality's restaurants, which now enjoy global renown.

Meet the chef: Yukitaka Kitade
Born in Tokyo, Chef Yukitaka Kitade's love for food blossomed during his years in the United States, where he sought the comforting flavors of home. His culinary journey led him to train in Japan's finest kitchens before gaining global experience in the UK and UAE. In 2020, he joined Shanghai Me as Executive Chef, bringing a distinctive fusion of Japanese techniques and Chinese flavors to the menu.
With a focus on innovation and excellence, Chef Yukitaka has played a key role in expanding Shanghai Me's global presence, crafting memorable dining experiences for guests worldwide.
