Born in Shanghai, the Dynasty of the Asian Disco brought revelers and party people together in the name of music. This New Year’s Eve, Shanghai Me pays tribute to the years gone by, starting with club classics from the 1980s and beyond, colourful characters, neon lights and an ecstatic celebration of disco.
Inspired by the golden era, when the journey of western music travelled across Asia and acted as a catalyst for extravagant and flamboyant parties. In Shanghai, partying became their heritage, a rite of passage, and a fundamental part of their traditions. Disco quickly grew into a sizeable phenomenon, with lavish production and enjoyment at its core.
Shanghai Me celebrates the start of a new decade, with a disco of epic proportions. Guests can enjoy exquisite cocktails, celebratory bubbles and fine-Asian cuisine, and are encouraged to dance the night away on the bamboo-filled terrace.
